Military Details Inauguration Security Plans

AP Poll: Americans Prefer a Mutt for Obamas

WASHINGTON (AP) — Most Americans prefer a mutt in the White House.
  
By more than a 2-1 margin, pet owners say the Obamas should choose a mixed breed for their first dog over a purebred, according to an Associated Press-Petside.com poll.

Mother Charged With Neglect; Girl Found Dead

MANASSAS, Va. (AP) — Prince William County police say they have arrested a Manassas woman on a child neglect charge.
  
Forty-four-year-old Alfreedia Gregg-Glover is also charged with filing a false police report. She is the mother of Alexis “Lexie” Glover, a 13-year-old developmentally disabled girl found dead on Friday.
