The Social Action Committee of the Prince George’s County Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., in partnership with Comcast invites the community to an exciting Town Hall Meeting at 4:00 P.M., on Saturday, February 28, 2009 at the Charles Herbert Flowers High School in Springdale, MD. 

TV One and CNN News Anchor Roland Martin will serve as the moderator with panelists:

Dr. Charlene M. Dukes, President – Prince George’s Community College; Dr. William R. Hite, Interim Superintendent – Prince George’s County Public Schools; Mr. Craig Muckle, Chair – Prince George’s Chamber of Commerce; Dr. Donald Shell, Health Officer – Prince George’s County; and the Honorable Marilynn Bland, Chair of the Prince George’s County Council. 

Discussion items include:  Status of the Economy, Healthcare, and Education; Political Empowerment; Community Leadership; Issues of Race and Class; and more.  Ask your questions, offer recommendations, take responsibility, become involved, and attend this meeting!
