WASHINGTON, D.C. - Our new President–the self-proclaimed BlackBerry junkie– gets to hold on to his cherished PDA.
The White House says President Barack Obama will use a security-enhanced smartphone to communicate with senior staff and a small circle of friends. He will also use a new top secret email address.
Still, what he writes could become part of the Presidential record.
The administration is not offering specifics.
There are reports the President could get a Sectera Edge, made by General Dynamics, certified by the government.
But FOX 5 has learned it could be an enhanced BlackBerry.
President Obama was reluctant to give up his BlackBerry, calling it his unfiltered connection to the world outside the “bubble.”
