DISTRICT HEIGHTS, Md. (AP) — State police are seeking witnesses to the flight or crash of a Medevac helicopter early Sunday.
Troopers ask that anyone who saw any part of the flight of Trooper 2 contact them. The helicopter traveled from the scene of a car crash in Waldorf until it crashed in Walker Mill Regional Park near Forestville. Four people were killed in the crash.
Witnesses should call 1-800-492-TIPS. The toll-free number is staffed 24 hours a day.
Authorities are also canvassing the neighborhoods around the crash site.
