In the past few months since the demise of Smooth Jazz 105.9 and now the death of Baltimore’s Smooth Jazz WSMJ. Personally the transition into the business world full time as a company owner has had it’s challenges on the way uphill. But the good thing is it’s uphill, not down. It’s all in the way you look at it and what you retain as a result of the journey. Stay positive no matter what. If something bad happens or if you suffer a setback, learn to get over it quickly.
What happens in your life and to your life in the larger scheme of things is entirely up to you. It’s your choice. Think about it. No matter what your circumstances or current condition, if you look for the worst, mentally create and vocalize it you’ll make it manifest itself be it real or not. It will become real in your mind if you feed it. Take a moment and marinade in the sauces of Wisdom From The Jazzman.
Choices
I challenge you each morning you wake up to say to yourself, I have two choices today. You can choose to be in a good mood or … you can choose to be in a bad mood. Personally I choose to be in a good mood. Each time something bad happens, I can choose to be a victim and let it ruin the rest of my day or…I can choose to learn from it. I choose to learn from it. You have Choices.
Every time someone comes to you complaining, you can choose to accept their complaining or… you can point out the positive side of life. Choose the positive side of life. You see it’s simple. Life is all about choices. When you cut away all the junk that comes with it, every situation is a choice. You choose how you react to situations. You choose how people affect your mood. You can choose to be in a good mood or bad mood.
The bottom line: It’s your choice how you live your life. Attitude, after all, is everything. “Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.” Matthew 6:34. After all today is the tomorrow you worried about yesterday. Remember you do have Choices
