Rapper DMX was arrested at his Cave Creek home by DPS officers on Tuesday.  Earl Simmons, aka DMX, is charged with racing on a highway, reckless driving, endangerment and driving on a suspended license.

The charges stem from photographs taken by speed cameras along the Loop 101 that show DMX going over 100mph in his 1966 Chevy Nova.  The photographs were taken back in January.

DPS says the first photo caught DMX going 100mph, then a minuter later clocked him at 114mph near the 101 and Cactus.  Less than 3 minutes later he was caught on camera going 101mph.  The posted speed limit for that stretch of the 101 is 65mph.

DPS says Simmons was cooperative during the arrest.  He was booked into the Scottsdale City Jail and made bond thereafter.
