It’s Friday…and I’m dead tired, but I have good reason to be!   The Pope was in town creating lots of hype, but last night was all about Washington Redskin Cornerback, Fred Smoot’s birthday party.

If you didn’t get the “Invitation Only” invite, let me tell you what you missed.  

The party was on the 18th floor at POSE ULTRA LOUNGE inside the newly opened Gaylord National Resort at the National Harbor in Prince George’s County Maryland.

From the time you arrived and walked down the red carpet you were greeted by photographers flashing lights and you knew you were in store for a good time.  Biz Markie held it down with the music while Big Tigger did his thing as the host for the night. The wait staff walked around with those pretty hordouvers that you look at and wonder what they are.  This was definitely a classy and sexy grown folk’s party. Everyone was stopping through to celebrate with Smoot. From Redskins, to Wizards, Comedians, Lawyers, Radio Personalities, Club owners and the list went on.

One touching moment was just before Fred cut the cake and Tigger asked everyone for a moment of silent in honor of the late Redskin Sean Taylor who would have celebrated a birthday earlier this month. The cake was cut and the party was on until 2AM.  And trust me when I say everyone was partying like a rock star. 

If you come to Prince George’s County…this is a must see location. 

The lounge is gorgeous.  They left nothing out from the décor to the stunning wrap around terrace and the plush VIP room.
