Jay Hayden was born and raised in the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan area. Jay’s love for music started in childhood at age seven. He was inspired by his uncle who played the keyboards. Jay grasped the concept of playing the piano from one song and started composing his own music with lyrics by the age of eight.

Jay Hayden is a self-contained Producer/Writer/Artist who also understands the technical aspects of music production. He plays the piano and other various instruments. He produces R&B, Pop, Hip-Hop and sings soulful R&B with a deep romantic twist. He refers to his music as Love Counseling. He currently performs at local clubs, concerts, and showcases. J Hayden has performed and worked with many successful artists, producers and companies within the industry.
