DC Schools to See $44 Mil More in ‘09

Schools shut down, staff members fired. Sounds like DC schools are struggling, but today Mayor Fenty’s office announced they’re throwing an extra $44 million into the city’s schools next year. So where is all that cash coming from and where is it going? Fox 5’s Brooke Baldwin is follows the money trail.

    From the outside looking in it looks like Fenty is making some good decision. They are tough decisions but nothing good happens with out those types of choices. What do you DC residents think?
