NC A&T Students March in Honor of the ‘A&T Four’

February 1 not only marks the beginning of Black History Month, but also the beginning of a movement. On Feb. 1, 1960, four NC A&T students integrated the all-white lunch counter at Woolworths in Greensboro, sparking the famous sit-in movement. Our sister station WGHP in North Carolina has been covering events based on that sit-in.
