ATLANTA (FOX 5) — The husband of televangelist Juanita Bynum has pleaded guilty to assaulting her, and must now serve a three-year sentence on probation.
Thomas W. Weeks III, known to his followers as Bishop Weeks, pleaded guilty Tuesday in Fulton County Superior Court to a single count of aggravated assault.
Judge T. Jackson Bedford sentenced Weeks to probation and said he must also undergo violence and anger counseling and complete 200 hours of community service that cannot be church related.
Weeks was charged with beating Bynum in the parking lot of an Atlanta hotel in August.
