On Wednesday, November 6th, I hosted a very distinguished panel of guests for a post-election discussion about the historic presidential election of Barack Obama. My guests shared anecdotes and insights on what President-elect’s Obama’s leadership means.
One of the major questions now is who will fill Obama’s U.S. Senate seat? Congressman Jesse Jackson Jr.? Congressman Danny Davis? Or will it be longtime Obama ally and one of the savviest businesswomen in Chicago Valerie Jarrett?
Illinois Governer Rod Blagojevich has the task of appointing the next U.S. Senator representing our state, but what do you think? Who do you think would most effectively represent the residents of this great state?
