Thanks for visiting the official blog of MY50 Chicago’s “Perspective!” Even though I’ve been doing the show for about 6 months now, I’ve been a little too busy to post here. But now, I will post at least once a week.For those of you who have never seen “Perspective,” it airs on Sundays at 9:00 a.m. on Channel 50 or Channel 8 if you have cable. It can be seen throughout Chicago and NW Indiana.Basically, the deals with issues that affect the African American Community. We cover culture, politics, news, community issues, health and more. 
On Sunday, October 19, we have a great show. Professor and Political commentator Bob Starks will join us along with Sun-Times Columnist Deborah Douglas and Professor Cherise Harris from Roosevelt Univeristy. Our topic: Race and the Race for the White House: Will culture and color play a role in who Americans choose for president?
